International Management

In the English-taught postgraduate programme International Management, you’ll explore the ins and outs of national and international business together with fellow students from around the world.

Are you looking for an English-taught programme at a Flemish university of applied sciences that prepares you for an international career in business? The International Management postgraduate programme (banaba) at VIVES University of Applied Sciences in Kortrijk, Belgium, might be just right for you.

Together with other international students without a background in business or economics, you’ll gain the essential knowledge and skills for a future in international business – all in just one year.

• The programme is fully taught in English.
• You’ll learn how the different departments of (international) companies operate: from financial management, logistics, marketing and HR to business and strategic management.
• You’ll gain hands-on experience through an international internship of three to four months and a business project.
• You’ll visit international companies such as Barco, Volvo Trucks and Renson, and attend guest lectures by international business experts.
• Your bachelor’s degree, combined with this one-year business programme, puts you on the fast track to an international business career.
• The programme is highly practice-oriented and works best in small groups. That’s why we admit a maximum of 25 international students, based on an introductory interview.

Programme

The English-taught International Management programme is a postgraduate certificate (banaba) at VIVES Kortrijk. You can complete the standard programme in 12 months. It starts in mid-September and finishes with a three-month internship from May to July or August.

After this programme, you’ll be ready to enter the job market. At the same time, it’s the perfect stepping stone towards a master’s degree.
