The Next Level Engineering is a programme for ambitious students. You can expect a study load of at least 40 hours a week. In order to complete the master successfully, it is necessary that you can keep up with the high paced nature of this programme. You'll work in teams, with a lot of interaction with your fellow students and the teaching staff. The programme is divided into four terms of ten weeks. During each term you'll follow two courses, work (together) on applied research and study in your learning team.
You will learn how to work on complex challenges, develop your professional skills and learn more about performing research and engineering fundamentals. With special attention to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals such as health technology and affordable and sustainable energy.

By completing the Master Next Level Engineering programme, you have become a pro-active technical professional with the skills needed to design and optimise engineering processes and products. We expect you to take on roles as a (technical) consultant or innovator in technical organisations.
Technical consultant - You make connections and switch easily between different (technical) fields of expertise. You advise clients by using existing technical knowledge and apply it in uncertain and complex situations. As a technical consultant you could work on a project in the field of energy transition.
Inovator - You work in a multidisciplinary team, developing and promoting the use of new technologies, for instance in health care. You function as a change agent by stimulating and motivating colleagues, and you can achieve results in uncertain and/or complex situations.
