Theoretical knowledge and practical experience
This Bachelor programme will provide you with deep theoretical knowledge and practical experience of basic and advanced research techniques in fundamental biomedical fields such as cell and molecular biology, medical biochemistry, physiology, and pharmacology as well as in the hi-tech areas of drug discovery, systems biology, bioinformatics and digital pathology. Throughout the programme your biomedical training will be run in parallel with project-driven courses to allow you apply your knowledge, ideas and enthusiasm. To ensure that you can translate research breakthroughs into clinical products and services the program trains students in the latest approaches in project management, clinical trial design, bioentrepreneurship, drug regulation and medical ethics.
Project courses with bioentrepreneurship
During each semester you will be engaged in real projects from healthcare, industry or academia. By meeting potential customer with new projects, you will integrate a comprehensive set of personal, interpersonal, and professional biomedical knowledge with the laboratory skills. You will take the project through the entire lifecycle of the commercialisation process, of services or products, including communication skills to meet other researchers or potential customers. Our goal is to prepare innovative and entrepreneurial students to develop future business or high-impact research in the biomedical field.
- Świadectwo dojrzałości oraz świadectwo ukończenia szkoły średniej – do formularza aplikacyjnego załącz świadectwo dojrzałości (maturalne) wraz ze świadectwem ukończenia liceum (bądź technikum) - do obu tych dokumentów potrzebne jest też tłumaczenie przysięgłe.
- Uwaga: na tę uczelnię należy wysłać wszystkie niezbędne dokumenty do 5 lipca, natomiast polscy aplikanci, kończący szkołę w tym roku, otrzymają matury po tym terminie, dlatego na ten program studiów mogą aplikować tylko osoby, które ukończyły już szkołę średnią i posiadają świadectwo dojrzałości i świadectwo ukończenia szkoły średniej.
Osoby zdające IB (International Baccalaureate) otrzymują dyplom wcześniej, nie powinny więc mieć problemu, by dokumenty były wysłane na czas.
Spełnienie wymagań w zakresie języka angielskiego można udokumentować w następujący sposób:
- IELTS - 6.5 (minimum 5.5 z każdej części) lub
- TOEFL – 90 (w tym minimum 20 z pisania). Wynik musi zostać przesłany na uczelnię bezpośrednio z centrum egzaminacyjnego.
- Wyjątek! Certyfikatu językowego nie potrzebują osoby, które ukończyły szkołę średnią i już w momencie aplikacji posiadają świadectwo maturalne ze zdanym rozszerzeniem z języka angielskiego.
*Wymagania językowe mogą się zmieniać i różnić w zależności od kierunku - przed aplikacją sprawdź wymagania bezpośrednio na stronie uczelni.
Wymagane jest ukończenie następujących przedmiotów z najniższą oceną pozytywną 4:
- Chemia na poziomie rozszerzonym
- Biologia na poziomie rozszerzonym
- Matematyka na poziomie rozszerzonym
The student will, after completing the programme:
- have the ability to critically appraise situations within academia, healthcare and industry in order to motivate and evaluate choice of actions as a professional
- demonstrate knowledge about and understanding of the factors which affect health from a local and global perspective
- have the ability to evaluate and apply knowledge in evidence-based medicine and quality improvement in healthcare
- be able to work for a sustainable and health promoting development of current and coming generations
- have obtained inter-professional skills that enables working in teams with other professions
- demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the importance of equality and equal opportunities in society
