Global Project and Change Management (Sustainable Business and Innovations) is a BBA-programme of Windesheim Honours College in Zwolle. It prepares you for a career as an international project and change manager who can make the difference in tackling worldwide sustainability challenges.

Think, for example, of climate change, human rights, global health and the circular economy. Sustainable development is the main focus, but we also stimulate social and sustainable entrepreneurship. We are practice-oriented: internships and projects with companies and organizations are included in the programme. And, unique about this programme: housing is guaranteed in year one! We dare, we share, we care! Do you?

What's Global Project and Change Management like?

We challenge you to create change! The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are at the heart of this programme, so you will learn to think critically, entrepreneurial and solution-oriented about global developments, sustainability and yourself. The programme is focused on doing, creating and co-creating: working with others to resolve problems that transcend borders.

  • This NVAO-accredited programme is hands-on: you will do internships and work on projects with companies and organizations.
  • Focus on doing, creating and co-creating: collaborate with others to resolve problems that transcend borders.
  • You have the opportunity to undertake a semester, internship or full year abroad.
  • Your personal and professional development are key. Your study pace and pathway towards reaching your goals are for you to decide.

The study GPCM is looking for talented and motivated students who want to go the extra mile, who are passionate about global issues, enjoy teamwork, have an open mind, are eager to gain new perspectives and have a solution-oriented drive in approaching challenges. It's important that we're right for each other, not only in terms of the programme content, but also in terms of our approach to learning.

  • Wypis ocen – jeśli wciąż się uczysz i dlatego nie masz jeszcze świadectwa ukończenia szkoły średniej, bardzo ważne jest załączenie wypisu. Szczegółowe informacje na temat sposobu wypełniania tego dokumentu oraz termin jego przesłania znajdziesz tutaj.
  • Świadectwo dojrzałości – w przypadku ukończenia szkoły średniej nie potrzebujesz wypisu ocen – wystarczy, że do formularza aplikacyjnego załączysz Świadectwo dojrzałości wraz ze świadectwem ukończenia liceum (bądź technikum).

Wymagania odnośnie języka angielskiego

Spełnienie wymagań w zakresie języka angielskiego można udokumentować w następujący sposób:

  • IELTS - 6.5
  • TOEFL – 90 (Reading: min. 19 Writing: min. 24)
Ważne wymagania
The programme Global Project and Change Management (GPCM) has a selection procedure consisting of a:
  • Online Matching Test - once you have completed your application and your educational level has been assessed, we will invite you to a selection day.
  • Group activity - You start the day by completing an assignment with three to six other applicants. A lecturer and one of our current students will lend you a helping hand and share their expertise.
  • Interview - You will have a personal interview lasting up to half an hour. The aim is to get to know you better, so we can decide whether you are the right kind of student for our learning community. We will ask you to explain why you have applied and to tell us what you expect from the programme and the learning community.
Beside that you will have to send:
  • Essay

Choose one of the following subjects and write anessay about it. Your essay should be 600-800 words (two pages):

- Option 1: Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so significant that they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If that sounds like you, please share your story and add a critical reflection of yourself.

- Option 2: Reflect on a time when you challenged a belief or idea e.g. signed a petition, took a stand for cause. What prompted you to act? Would you make the same decision again? Be self-reflective and describe what you have learnt from this.

- Option 3: Describe a problem you've solved or would like to solve. It can be an intellectual challenge, a social issue, an ethical dilemma or anything that is of personal importance, no matter the scale. Explain its significance to you by giving a critical reflection and what steps you took or could be taken to identify a solution.  

Please mention your chosen subject at the beginning of your essay. Also make sure to give a title and put your name on it.

As a graduate, you will possess the skills to create sustainable solutions to the world’s most challenging problems. Your strength lies in your versatility and ability to solve problems by combining your practical skills, theoretical business knowledge and diverse areas of expertise. There are plenty of positions in which you can develop, for example:

  • Development manager at a non-profit organization
  • Advisor improving corporate sustainability
