Sometimes years pass so quickly that we don't even notice how much can change during that time. For me, one important chapter of my life was completing my Master's degree at Radboud University in the Netherlands.

When I was still studying for my Bachelor's degree in Lithuania, I started actively exploring opportunities to continue my studies abroad. I wanted to choose carefully—not only based on my interests but also considering how my education could help me build a stronger future career.

I spent a lot of time researching different universities and countries. I talked with many former Master's students who had studied across Europe and used their experiences to understand what each country could offer. After comparing my options, I became convinced that the Netherlands was the right choice for me.

Several things attracted me to the Netherlands: a strong academic system, a large international student community, excellent career opportunities for graduates, and a comfortable environment for everyday life. These factors eventually led me to choose Radboud University.

Looking back, I can confirm that my expectations were met. The academic level is high, and studying here requires dedication, but the challenges help you learn much more. The university environment is truly international, with students from different countries and backgrounds bringing new perspectives every day.

Another important benefit was the professional network I built. Spending time with people who share the same interests and are passionate about their fields creates valuable connections that can last far beyond your studies. Some of these people may become future colleagues, business partners, or lifelong friends.

Studying at Radboud University also opened new career opportunities for me—opportunities that might not have appeared if I had chosen a different path.

If you're considering studying abroad, my advice is to look beyond just the degree. Think about the knowledge you will gain, the people you will meet, and the opportunities that can come from becoming part of an international community.
