Możliwości kariery
In a fast-paced, globalised era of constant change, employers need adaptable professionals to help run, market, represent and advise their organisations. Our interdisciplinary European Studies programme equips you for management and marketing jobs in both the public and private sector, or for a master’s programme, giving you a wide range of career options and the skills you’ll need to adapt to a changing labour market.

European Studies at The Hague University of Applied Sciences focuses on sustainable management and combines the study of business, politics, culture, sustainable management and marketing with professional skills, foreign languages and intercultural awareness. This turns our students into global citizens who are ready to take on the world and change it for the better through powerful public policy-making or innovative approaches to entrepreneurship or both.

ES has been certified for ‘excellence in internationalisation because it offers a completely international environment and curriculum, taught fully in English to a diverse student body by an international team of professionals who keep the focus on your personal and professional development. Whenever possible, knowledge and skills are integrated into meaningful courses and projects, using professional products for assessment, so that you’re prepared to meet the needs of employers when you graduate. Our programme also includes an exchange programme that will help you develop your flexibility and an internship that will help you maximize your employability.

In 2017, ES was awarded the ‘Certificate for Quality in Programme Internationalisation’ by the European Consortium for Accreditation (ECA).

Rather than preparing you for one specific job, European Studies’ interdisciplinary approach gives you an advantage by getting you ready for dozens of jobs, while equipping you to adapt to future changes. Our customisable curriculum, which lets you choose a preference for public or private sector topics, languages, electives, minors and exchange courses, also expands your options.

You can pursue a career in public service or politics, or at a non-governmental organisation, where you’ll likely be busy with management tasks, international relations, policy advice, fundraising and communications. You can also pursue a career in business, where you might work in management, marketing, governance, export or communications, or you could even decide to go into business for yourself as a social entrepreneur. Whatever you choose, you should be ready to run, market, advise or represent an international organisation, political institution or business, anywhere in the world.
