Submitting your application on time is one of the most important steps when applying to a university abroad. Below you will find the indicative application deadlines by country and level of study.

Bachelor's and Top-up programmes

Intake	Application deadline
Main intake at universities in Denmark	by 1 March
Main intake at universities in the Netherlands and Belgium	by 1 April
Main intake at universities in Finland and Sweden	October – May (depending on the study programme)
Winter intake (studies begin in February)	October – December (depending on the country and study programme)

⚠ Important information about application deadlines

Why is it important to apply before the deadline?

We recommend submitting your application before the indicated date. Applications received before the deadline are reviewed first. Applications submitted after the deadline are considered only if places remain available in the programme. For universities in Denmark and Sweden, applications are accepted only up to the stated deadline.

Winter intake

The winter intake is available for students who have already completed secondary school and wish to start their studies in February. Not all Kastu partner universities offer a winter intake, and it is not available for all programmes. Programmes available for winter intake can be found in the study search engine. The total duration of studies remains unchanged.
