If you are, the three-year, English-taught Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (ME) is the right choice for you.
In order to feel at home in the field of mechanical engineering, you need to love technology, be versatile and keen to solve the challenges that people and society face today. Throughout this programme, you will become an expert in designing, improving and maintaining all kinds of machines, devices and installations, as well as structures and processes. We will equip you for a very broad field of work, teaching you to contribute to many different kinds of innovations and improvements. Some examples include: 3D-printing a ship propeller; making a power plant sustainable; building a window-cleaning robot, or an exoskeleton for rehabilitation processes; developing and applying new materials for lighter, stronger aeroplane wings; contributing to the development of the self-driving car, or the magnetic glider train.
With this Bachelor’s you will become an academically educated and highly resourceful mechanical engineer – an independent thinker who understands the technology our society relies on, now and in the future.
- Wypis ocen – jeśli wciąż się uczysz i dlatego nie masz jeszcze świadectwa ukończenia szkoły średniej, bardzo ważne jest załączenie wypisu. Szczegółowe informacje na temat sposobu wypełniania tego dokumentu oraz termin jego przesłania znajdziesz tutaj.
- Świadectwo dojrzałości i świadectwo ukończenia liceum – w przypadku ukończenia szkoły średniej nie potrzebujesz wypisu ocen – wystarczy, że do formularza aplikacyjnego załączysz Świadectwo dojrzałości wraz ze świadectwem ukończenia liceum.
- Exam form - jeśli jesteś teraz w ostatniej klasie liceum i nie masz jeszcze wyników matur to konieczne jest załączenie dodatkowego dokumentu - informacji o przedmiotach zdawanych na egzaminie maturalnym. Po wydrukowaniu, uzupełnieniu i podpisaniu, należy załączyć skan tego dokumentu w sekcji Additional Documents w formularzu aplikacyjnym Kastu. Dokument możesz pobrać tutaj.
WAŻNE! Opłata aplikacyjna - uczelnia pobiera opłatę aplikacyjną w wysokości 100 euro, którą należy uiścić przy składaniu aplikacji (podczas wysyłania formularza aplikacyjnego zostaniesz poinformowany, jak to zrobić). Tutaj można znaleźć więcej informacji na temat tej opłaty i jej wysokości. Opłata aplikacyjna jest opłacana wyłącznie raz, niezależnie od ilości wybranych kierunków na tej uczelni.
Wynik testu językowego trzeba dostarczyć do 30 czerwca.
Spełnienie wymagań w zakresie języka angielskiego można udokumentować w jeden z następujących sposobów:
- IELTS – 6.0
- TOEFL – 80
- CV w języku angielskim
- Na świadectwie ukończenia liceum trzeba mieć ocenę przynajmniej 3 z przedmiotów: matematyka i fizyka (przedmioty te nie musza być na rozszerzeniu).
- Matematyka i fizyka muszą być zdawane na maturze (oba przedmioty na rozszerzeniu, na minimum 30%).
MECHANICAL ENGINEERS ARE IN HIGH DEMAND
With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Twente you will find the world at your feet. The chances of getting a well-paid job are excellent , as highly educated engineers with insight into social issues will always be in high demand on the job market. You will be able to find many different positions in a wide range of sectors, such as machine and apparatus construction, the automobile and aircraft industry, the chemical or electro technical industry. Even areas like the healthcare sector see opportunities for innovation by taking on engineers. You will be equipped to work wherever high-tech solutions based on a keen understanding of human and social needs are required.
Many Master's graduates quickly find jobs in leadership positions, for example at the production or development departments of large companies. In project teams, it is often the mechanical engineers who take on the role of technical specialist and team leader. You might also work at a research institute, such as TNO, NLR or MARIN, or at an engineering company. There you might engage in activities like designing and developing equipment, machines, advanced constructions, production systems and processes that will make a difference in the real world.
WHERE DO GRADUATES WORK?
After your graduation, you might start working as a designer, of course, but you could also start out as an entrepreneur or consultant. Many mechanical engineers end up at big companies like ASML, Unilever, Shell, AKZO NOBEL, Heerema, Allseas; others opt for smaller engineering companies.
