Master's in Mathematics

Specialisations
Mathematics. In this Master's, you will work and study alongside cutting-edge mathematical researchers in a broad range of fields, varying from pure mathematics, applied mathematics, to mathematical physics. Advance your math skills in any direction you like.
Science, Management and Innovation. In Science, Management and Innovation (SMI) you will gain expertise in societal challenges, work on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and learn the ability to speak the language of policy and business.
Science in Society. Are you concerned about what is going on in the world? Do you have an interest in people, policies, science and society? In this specialisation, you study the relevance of science in society using theoretical principles and practical examples.
The Mathematics department in Nijmegen is leading research in a broad range of fields in pure mathematics, applied mathematics and mathematical physics. This means you can choose between three core mathematics tracks, and specialise or broaden your knowledge by selecting from a wide range of electives.

- Dyplom ukończenia studiów licencjackich lub inżynierskich – jeśli jesteś absolwentem wyższej uczelni, nie potrzebujesz wypisu, wystarczy załączyć dyplom ukończenia studiów wraz z suplementem (w języku angielskim lub oryginał z tłumaczeniem)

Spełnienie wymagań w zakresie języka angielskiego można udokumentować w następujący sposób:
- IELTS – 6.5
- TOEFL - 90
- Mathematics: You are eligible to get admission for this Master’s programme if you have a completed Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics that is equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from a Dutch Research University. More admission guidelines.
- Science, Management and Innovation: You need to be enrolled in one of the Master’s programmes of the Faculty of Science to be admitted into this specialisation. You will follow the first year of your science Master's specialisation, and switch to Science, Management and Innovation in year two. More admission guidelines.
- Science in Society: You need to be enrolled in one of the Master’s programmes of the Faculty of Science to be admitted into this specialisation. You will follow the first year of your science Master's specialisation, and switch to Science in Society in year two. More admission guidelines.
Mathematicians are needed in all industries, including the industrial, banking, technology and service industry and also within management, consultancy and education. A Master’s in Mathematics will show prospective employers that you have perseverance, patience and an eye for detail as well as a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
